1975 75 Honda CR250M Elsinore OEM Aluminum Gas Fuel Petrol Tank Gastank USED
This Fuel Tank was removed from a 1975 Honda CR250M Elsinore. Honda OEM Part Number: 17500-381-405ZA. Up for sale is a Genuine Honda 1975 CR250M Elsinore OEM Fuel Tank. This is an aluminum tank with a red and black stripe along the top. This tank is in good condition for a 46 year old tank, but it does have minor scuffs/scratches, chipped/worn paint, a few shallow dings here and there and some oxidation starting in spots (see photos).
There are no large dents and it is straight, but there is some JB Weld? At the left rear and a very small hairline crack at the right rear of the mount (see photos). There are no signs of leaking from this area. Inside appears to be clean from what I can see from looking through the filler hole. No old fuel residue, but it should of course be flushed out before use.
The cap as shown is included, rubber seal is still soft, but there is no petcock or mounting hardware included. T does not have any signs of pin holes or leaking. A very good, solid, usable tank as it is, but it will require some work if you want it to be perfect again. I can find no other damage or issues.
