Foam Filled Aluminium Racing Fuel Tank With Fuel Pump & Enclosure. Here we have a 40 litre foam filled aluminium fuel tank that comes with a 280 litre per hour fuel pump and an enclosure to fit into the boot of a race or sprint car. The tank measures, 42x42x23 cm and the enclosure measures 59x77.5x36cm. Please note it does NOT come the fuel filter pictured, I had to use this on my car, so one will have to be fitted before use to protect the fuel pump.
I recommend the sytec inline bullet filter as seen in the photos. The enclosure comes with a lid that is held on by some Dzus fasteners.
In the lid is a quick release section to allow access to fill the tank without removing the entire lid. The fuel lines seem to be in good order and are fastened using an6 fittings. This tank was fitted in my race car and then only used on the road for about 100 miles so it is in very good condition. The tank and enclosure could benefit from a polish but is more than usable straight away.
